Coconut-Pecan Frosting

Ingredients
1 cup
evaporated milk
1 cup
sugar
3
egg yolks, slightly beaten
1/2 cup
butter or margarine
1 tsp
vanilla
1 1/3 cups
Baker's flaked sweetened coconut
1 cup
pecans, chopped
Steps
Combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter, and vanilla.
Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 12 minutes.
Add coconut and pecans.
Cool until thick enough to spread, beating occasionally.
