Chicken & Waffles

Ingredients

1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup milk
2 cups diced cooked chicken, or leftover turkey
frozen waffles, toasted

Steps

In saucepan, melt butter; blend in flour and salt and whisk until smooth.
Add chicken broth and milk all at once.
Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce is thick and bubbly. Reduce heat to low; add chicken.
Heat through. Serve on toasted waffles (or toast points).
