Marinated Sliced Tomatoes

Yields 6 servings

Ingredients

4 large tomatoes
1 medium onion
1/4 cup salad oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
2 tbsp vinegar

Steps

Slice the tomatoes and onion. Arrange in a shallow dish.
Combine oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and oregano. Mix well.
Pour over tomatoes and onions. Cover and refrigerate for several hours, until well chilled.
