Heart Waffles

Ingredients

3 eggs, separated
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup sour cream
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted

Steps

Whip egg whites until frothy; set aside.
In separate large mixing bowl, mix egg yolks, vanilla, milk, and sour cream.
Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
Add dry ingredients to egg mixture. Gently fold in egg whites.
Note: batter keeps well in refrigerator for several days.
